Today was my first day in Food Styling. We went over the syllabus and Chef Mary Helen told us about some of the events and projects we were going to be participating in through this semester. She hadn’t finalized the schedule yet, but told us about some events that she was sure were going on. Will be doing displays for our Homecoming event that goes on in March as well as helping prepare and decorate food for an upcoming Valentine’s Luncheon. Some of the projects we will be working on will be making fake ice cream and doing a photo shoot that is worth HALF our grade for the class!! I’m excited to learn some tricks of the trade for food styling and what all it in tales!
